BOURGET: NTN-SNR – the factory of the future is ready to take orders


LOGO-SNR-NTNNTN-SNR exhibits at the Paris Air Show on June 19-25, well-prepared and ready to fumfill the orders coming from the signature of important contracts to supply bearings for CFMI’s LEAP, Pratt & Whitne’s GTF and Tolls Royce’s Trent 1000 and 7000 engines.

Take-off project along with €27 M investment will allow to extend and upgrade Argonay facility (France) that is entirely dedicated to aerospace bearings manufacturing. The new “factory of the future” already manufactures the first parts. The investment process will be on till 2018 with robots, best in class machinery for rectification, complex machining and heat treatment, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation, Lean approach and ergonomic workstations.
Furthermore, NTN-SNR works on transmission systems of new X6 helicopter of Airbus Helicopters. It intends to obtain client certification that will allow to enter LEAP bearings maintenance and repair sector and also develops R&D program in the area of powder metallurgy
